Personnaly, i like this guy and his show. Not that i take it very seriously, but there is some entertaining containt in it, and some nice boobs as meat shield on cohost sometimes :)
The only thing i could say against his attitude is that he takes thoses prank far too seriously; it's just a show after all.
The first thing they will tell him to do is change his phone number. Some places they will do it free of charge if harrassment is involved; so he should look into doing that, if not already done so. I have to agree he does take the chatters too serious laugh it off, go with the flow. If he can take a joke and laugh it off people might tend to leave him alone and go on to their next target. Remember they are doing it to get a reaction if they get it they will continue. Ever hear of the word IGNORE? Once they get bored they end up leaving anyways.
